I’m Olivia (Liv) Hewkin, writer, artist and museum professional from Wolverhampton, living in Ely, Cambridgeshire.
Visiting museums was a huge influence on my early years, opening a world of history, cultures and mythologies beyond my own doorstep. Now I’m passionate about creating opportunities for others to enjoy culture. I work for VocalEyes, a charity which supports blind and vision impaired people to access the arts. I am also a writing a novel and love to draw – ink and digital illustrations inspired by nature and folklore.
I have degrees in English and Cultural Heritage Management, from the Universities of Birmingham and York respectively. I was a Fellow on the Escalator New Writing Programme, run by the National Centre for Writing in 2024-2025.
